About
PvM progression isn't about how many bosses you've killed. It's about how many mechanics you understand. osrspvm lays every boss out by the mechanics it trains, so you can see where you are and pick what to learn next.
The idea and the look come from 10Boot's video Bossing is NOT a Ladder (How To Actually Learn PvM in OSRS) and the infographics his designer made for it. Watch it, and check out 10Boot.
The six mechanics
- Movement. Dodging, stepping out of attacks, standing in the right tile.
- Prayer. Switching protection prayers in time, reacting to projectiles, flicking.
- Gear switching. Swapping between styles mid-fight without losing attacks.
- Resources. Food, prayer points and stamina: lasting the fight and the trip.
- Extra enemies. Minions, spawns and multiple bosses competing for your attention.
- Timing. Tick timing, attack rhythms and making the most of damage windows.
Where the numbers come from
Each ring is how hard a fight is to learn and when you'd usually take it on. The ring names borrow the Combat Achievement tiers, but a boss's ring isn't its CA tier: Kraken has hard CA tasks but is a medium fight. Max hits come from the OSRS Wiki. Mechanic weights (0–7), punishment and intensity (0–10), and the "next step" links are judgment calls. Expect them to change.
